Announcement of March 18, 2026<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The competition aims to finance the research or artistic goals of doctoral students at the University of Silesia\u2019s doctoral schools in Katowice (with affiliation of the University of Silesia<\/strong>), related to the implementation of specific research tasks resulting from the doctoral student\u2019s Individual Research Plan, and to disseminate the results of completed research tasks.<\/p>\n

  1. Application deadline: Friday, March 27, 2026, 12:00 PM.<\/li>\n
  2. Supervisor confirmation deadline: Monday, March 30, 2026, 12:00 PM.<\/li>\n

  5. Planned results announcement date: April 2, 2026 (subject to change) on the Doctoral School website.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Application Procedure:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. The doctoral student completes and submits the SRW form (link above), then confirms submission of the application by clicking the link sent by the system.<\/li>\n
    2. The doctoral student submits the completed form, either electronically or in hard copy, identical to the form submitted in the School\u2019s IT system, to the doctoral supervisor for approval.<\/li>\n
    3. The supervisor informs the Doctoral School of the acceptance of the application by completing the form (link above). Any significant changes made to the application by the supervisor will require the doctoral student to repeat the procedure described above. This is not possible after the system has been closed.<\/li>\n
    4. Applications not confirmed by the supervisor will not be considered (without being requested to supplement the application).<\/li>\n
    5. Applications that do not meet any of the formal requirements specified in the regulations or the additional conditions listed below will not be considered (without being requested to supplement or amend the application).<\/li>\n
    6. The committee\u2019s decision is final and cannot be appealed.<\/li>\n
    7. The doctoral student may submit multiple applications if they intend to apply for funding for multiple research projects.<\/li>\n
    8. Maximum funding amount for a single doctoral student: PLN 7,500 (total amount for all applications).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
