The competition aims to finance the participation of IEDS doctoral students (with affiliation of the University of Silesia) in specialized courses carried out in foreign renowned scientific and research centers, related to the implementation of IPB (does not apply to first-year doctoral students).

- Application deadline: Friday, March 27, 2026, 12:00 PM.
- Supervisor confirmation deadline: Monday, March 30, 2026, 12:00 PM.

- Planned results announcement date: April 2, 2026 (may be changed) on the Doctoral School website.
Application Procedure:
- The doctoral student completes and submits the SRW form (link above), then confirms submission of the application by clicking the link sent by the system.
- The doctoral student submits the completed form, either electronically or in hard copy, identical to the form submitted in the School’s IT system, to the doctoral supervisor for approval.
- The supervisor informs the Doctoral School of the acceptance of the application by completing the form (link above). Any significant changes made to the application by the supervisor will require the doctoral student to repeat the procedure described above. This is not possible after the system has been closed.
- Applications not confirmed by the supervisor will not be considered (without being requested to supplement the application).
- Applications that do not meet any of the formal requirements specified in the regulations or the additional conditions listed below will not be considered (without being requested to supplement or amend the application).
- The committee’s decision is final and cannot be appealed.
- A doctoral student may submit only one application.
- Maximum funding amount per doctoral student: PLN 16,000.
