1. Requirements to admission
The Admission Committee evaluates the candidate on the basis of the documents submitted in the IRK system and the admission interview, according to the following criteria:
- previous academic achievements (including Master’s thesis) thematically connected with the proposed doctoral project (max. 60 points);
- grades obtained in during the Master’s studies (on the basis of the supplement to the Master’s diploma and the final mark) ( max. 30 points);
- English language proficiency ( max. 10 points).
2. Conditions for admission to the qualification procedure
- create a personal account in irk2.us.edu.pl and fill a form containing relevant declarations and consents;
- submitting through irk2.us.edu.pl the following documents: an authorized copy of master’s degree along with the supplement; curriculum vitae
- Candidate can be of any nationality but must not have resided or carried out their
main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the recruiting organization for more
than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before their recruitment date

The schedule will be set out soon.
4. Scholarship
The planned amount of the scholarship during the first 36 months of the PhD project is Euro 2300 gross. The scholarship will be financed will be paid from the project 101120290 – GAP – HORIZON-MSCA-2022-DN-01 by the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. This scholarship consists of a doctoral scholarship within the meaning of Article 209 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 and a research scholarship. During the remaining part of the doctoral studies the PhD student receives a scholarship according to the Act of 20th July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science.
